The Ottawa Tulip Festival (Part 1)


Earlier today Greg and I went down to Dow's Lake to check out the tulips. It was about 10:00 a.m., a time we hoped would beat the hordes of tulip seekers. As it was there was a respectable number of people already there. There must be about 50 varieties of tulips, only half of which are already blooming. We shared a cinnamon and sugar beavertail, with coffee. Over the next few days I will post a selection of photos I took today.
